May 8, 2013- Rainbow Child Care Center is partnering with Two Men and a Truck to collect donations for local women’s and family shelters for Mother’s Day. The Movers for Moms program is designed to recognize all moms on Mother’s Day, including those living in shelters, by arranging delivery of small gifts for women who are victims of domestic abuse or homelessness.
“As an early education provider our primary customers are Moms, without them we would not be in business”, said Karen Krygier, Chief Operating Officer of Rainbow Child Care Center. “We strive to provide both a premier early education experience for our children and strong partnerships with their Moms. Participating in Movers for Moms is a way for us to support mothers in our communities despite their circumstances.”
