The Rainbow family continues to expand with the opening of two, brand-new centers. Rainbow Child Care Center of Verona, Wisconsin opened its doors to families on Monday, Aug. 28, becoming the state’s third operating school. Rainbow of Wake Forest, North Carolina officially welcomed children with a grand opening on Tuesday, Aug. 29. Wake Forest marks Rainbow’s 31st Rainbow center.
The new schools serve children ages six weeks to twelve years, providing safe, quality child care and meeting the demand for additional, affordable early childhood education solutions.
“We all must recognize the importance of the social and educational development of our children,” said Patrick Fenton, Rainbow’s founder and chief executive officer. “We are thrilled to continue to help families by providing a safe, ‘Home Away from Home’ environment that allows our young ones to learn and excel academically.”
The new schools join the network of Rainbow facilities in offering The Creative Curriculum®, which provides students with a variety of academic experiences structured to promote problem-solving abilities, persistence and passion for continued learning. In addition, programs that promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and nutrition are implemented to reflect Rainbow’s commitment to whole-child learning.
“Each program is designed for specific age groups to ensure that every child is engaging in developmentally appropriate activities,” said Fenton. “We are looking forward to providing our successful curriculum to the communities.”
