As a company, we strongly believe it is important that our employees receive the support and training they need to be successful in their classrooms. This year our staff gained valuable knowledge about a wide variety of topics to benefit their classrooms, the families they serve, and the center as a whole.
The goals of our Employee Education Day are to:
Teachers learned valuable information about safe sleep techniques in infant classrooms, mandated reporting laws for child abuse and neglect, and policies and procedures for supervision. The trainings were designed to help the overall safety standards in our buildings so we can continue to be your child’s home away from home and to ensure that Rainbow teachers are using the best techniques possible to care for your child.
At Rainbow, we also want to make sure your child is receiving the support they need to acquire new developmental skills. This year we provided employees with trainings on the learning environment and positive guidance techniques to give them resources to create innovative and developmentally appropriate activities to support each child’s learning and development. We have a renewed focus on creating a positive community in each classroom to fit the school community as a whole.
We hope that you can see the benefits of these professional development trainings that we do each year and that you continue to have positive experiences with the Rainbow family!
